Detailed Service Information for cleanings

Kitchen Hood Cleaning Service Quote

Thank you for considering us to care for your kitchen exhaust system.

Our goal is to provide a thorough, reliable cleaning service that helps keep your kitchen safe, compliant, and running smoothly. Below is a summary of what is included in your service and the terms of our work.

Scope of Work

• Cleaning the interior of the hood

• Cleaning vents and ductwork

• Cleaning the exhaust system components

• Cleaning fan blades, when safely accessible

Please note: The firewall and front/exterior of the hood are not included in the standard service but can be added for an additional fee.

Accessibility Notes

To ensure we can safely and completely clean your system:

• Exhaust fans should have hinge kits installed. Without a hinge kit, some areas (such as fan blades and the upper duct) may be inaccessible.

• If your system includes duct access panels, please let us know ahead of time. These panels take extra time to remove, clean through, and reinstall, and will result in an additional charge.

Additional Labor

The first cleaning often takes longer, especially if the system hasn’t been serviced regularly.

If we find heavy grease buildup or neglected areas that require extra time to bring the system into compliance, additional labor will be billed at $115 per hour.

You will always be notified before any additional charges are added.

Liability Limits

We take great care during every cleaning, but please note the following:

• We cannot be responsible for pre-existing damage, improper installation, or components that are already worn or fragile.

• We are not liable for equipment issues caused by prior neglect, hidden defects, or inaccessible components.

• Areas that cannot be safely reached or opened (such as fans without hinge kits) may be excluded from cleaning.

• Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed and does not include business interruption or lost revenue.

If you ever have questions or concerns, we’re always happy to help.

Service Reminders & After-Service Photos

We will send you an email reminder before each scheduled cleaning to help keep everything on track.

While reminders are a courtesy, please ensure we have access to the kitchen on the scheduled service date or notify us if the appointment needs to be changed.

Once the cleaning is complete, we will send you photos of all cleaned areas, including the hood interior, ducts, and fan components. These serve as a record of the work performed and may be helpful for inspections or compliance documentation.
